At TCPD we believe that children need and desire structure and clear expectations. We also believe that children deserve respect and to be heard. We will always communicate our expectations to TCPD children so that the children understand why they are being disciplined.
We will ensure that when we discipline children, we are at eye level and truly seek to understand what your child has to say to determine the appropriate consequences for the actions/behaviors displayed. Discipline will be handled on an individual basis for the child(ren) involved.
Under no circumstances will there be any physical, verbal, or mental abuse used to discipline your child. We may physically redirect your child if they are causing harm to themselves or other students.
